Verbos en infinitivo, the infinitive, corresponden a los verboides del idioma español.

Los más usuales son learn, forget, remember, swear, agree, propose, refuse, regret, attempt, hope, care, fail, decide, prepare, determine, manage, undertake, seem, cease, arrange.

She promise to obey me.
I hope to start tomorrow.

La formación de los verbos en infinitivo es tan sencilla ya que simplemente se debe agregar la raíz “to” entonces:

No obstante existen unas pocas excepciones de verbos que no se le antepone la raíz “to, ellos son:

Must (deber)

May (poder)

Can (poder)

Los verbos en infinitivo que no llevan la raíz “to se les llama “bare infinitivo mientras que los que sí la llevan se laman to-infinitive o full infinitivo.

Tomando coo eljemplo el verbo “jugar” “to play”

En presente simple o simple present tense dirás:

Yo juergo:
I play

En el modo condicional simple o condicional simple dirás:

Yo jugariá:
I World play

En pasado simple o simple past tense usarás el infinitivo en las oraciones negativas, entonces si quieres decir:

Yo no jugue será:

I didn’t play

En el futuro simple o simple future dirías:

Yo jugaré:
I will play

En imperativo o imperative form dirías:

Juega!
